Our family has a long history on Amelia Island (and especially in Fernandina Beach) that dates back to the mid 1800's! We used to say in the 1980's, when it was still a sleepy lil town, "One day, this hidden island gem won't be a secret anymore". We were right of course. Amelia Isle is now one of the top vacation destinations in the U.S. and even around the world! Still, it has managed to retain that quaint little island feel, rich with history and culture and a little something for everyone who visits. We hope you'll enjoy perusing our site and decide, like us, you need more Fernandina in your life. ;)
WHY BUCCANEER BUNGALOW?
We have dubbed this 1st Amelia home "Buccaneer Bungalow", a tribute to the pirate history on the island as well as the street on which it resides. We've rebuilt this cedar ranch to fit the needs of our big family & friends and hope it suits yours too! Some key features include:
